Location: Berlin, Germany
Originally from Dublin, Ireland, I live in Berlin, Germany. I first kayaked as a teenager on a school trip to the west coast of Ireland and began regularly kayaking about 15 years ago upon moving to Berlin, in no small part due to the 3000+ lakes in the region. For almost all of my TRAK 2.0 day trips or multi-day tours, I use local public transport and regional trains which has the significant advantage of allowing point to point tours rather than loops, without the reliance on a car for pickup or drop-off. My lifelong passion for the outdoors means I paddle all year round regardless of the weather and I have begun the journey to become a licensed guide/instructor with an aim to share my enthusiasm, knowledge and experience. I am always up to meet other paddlers, arrange a test paddle, share tips or just answer questions about the TRAK 2.0.
