Is shipping included?
For New TRAK Kayaks:
As of April 8th, 2025, TRAK delivers new TRAK 2.0 kayaks for free within Canada and continental USA (with some exceptions in remote regions).
For most regions outside of Canada and USA, TRAK charges a flat rate based on our costs of shipping plus any applicable regional import duties, taxes, or other fees.
For example, customers in the EU will pay US $450 flat fee upon checkout, which includes shipping, import duties, and applicable taxes.
This means no surprises upon delivery - the price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
For all accessories, TRAK charges shipping based on real cost.

For example, if you paddle your TRAK onto coral or other sharp objects and cause damage to your skin, we will not be able to replace your skin under warranty.
But as we said, call us, and we will work with you to get you paddling again - your satisfaction is very important to us!
DISCLAIMER

About Our Kayak
Below are some common questions about the TRAK 2.0:
How long does the TRAK 2.0 take to set up, really?
After watching our instructional videos to get familiar with the assembly process, first timers generally spend between 20-30 minutes on their first setup. After a couple of practice sessions, most TRAK owners are able to setup their kayak in 10 to 15 minutes, or less. But it's not a race.
Is the TRAK 2.0 suitable for beginner paddlers?
Absolutely. While we're proud to produce a high performance kayak, TRAK owners need not identify as 'high performance' paddlers. Our kayak is perfectly suitable for novice and intermediate kayakers who are building their skills on the water. The durability and versatility of the TRAK 2.0 makes it an excellent kayak to 'grow into' as you expand your comfort zone.
Can I mount a TRAK kayak on a roof rack?
Yes! All TRAK Kayaks can be mounted on a roof rack - just like a hardshell. We recommend using secure tie-down straps and placing thin padding between the underside of your straps and your kayak's skin to reduce potential for abrasion.
Can I perform a rescue with a TRAK kayak?
Definitely! The TRAK 2.0 is built to perform self- and assisted rescues in advanced conditions, and is trusted by professional paddlers around the world. Learn more about performing rescues with your TRAK kayak, here.
Can I perform a kayak roll with a TRAK 2.0?
Yes! TRAK owners around the world take pride in being able to perform a variety of different rolls with their TRAK kayaks, including hand-only rolls (without a paddle). Here's an example.
Who can fit in a TRAK 2.0 kayak?
The TRAK 2.0 is designed to accommodate a payload of 350 lbs / 159 kg, including the paddler.
TRAK's cockpit and foot pedals are designed to accommodate paddlers who are at least 5 feet / 1.5 m tall. Shorter paddlers may struggle to reach the foot pedals.
Paddlers over 6' 5" or with feet larger than size 14 may find that their toes touch the fabric of the top deck, depending on how they position their feet.
About Our Accessories
Below are some of are common questions about TRAK Accessories
Do I have to use the sea sock?
Because paddling is ultimately a risk activity, TRAK highly recommends that paddlers use both their sea sock AND their gear floatation bags whenever they're on the water. These items will prevent your kayak from flooding in the event of a capsize and wet exit, and make rescue and reentry much easier.
Your sea sock also helps to keep the inside of your kayak clean and dry, saving you time during the cleanup and disassembly process.
Do I have to use the gear floatation bags?
We highly recommend that TRAK owners always paddle with their floatation bags installed. Failure to paddle with floatation bags inflated could make it very difficult to perform a self- or assisted-rescue in the event of a capsize.
What's special about TRAK's custom spray deck?
TRAK's Aquatherm Spray Deck includes a special opening with a waterproof roll-top closure that allows you to reach down and adjust your rocker using your keel jack (or grab a snack). It's optional, but handy!
