Experience the unforgettable magic of Baja California Sur on an 8-day kayaking adventure during the spring equinox, where day and night stand in perfect balance. Paddle through the tranquil, remote waters of Bahia Conception, where desert landscapes meet the sea. As we explore the rugged coastline, you’ll enjoy breathtaking paddling, immersive natural history and cultural experiences in this pristine environment. With opportunities for snorkeling, hiking, and night paddling, each day is an opportunity to interact with this unique bioregion.
This expedition is designed for a minimum of 6 adventurers, creating a tight-knit group where teamwork and community are key. This is not a pony tide, but a participatory adventure! Be involved in meaningful group decision making processes—like whether to take on a stretch-goal and paddle to San Basilio! You will be included at every step of this expedition, with the goal of inspiring self-leadership in future trips of your own.
Meet your guides
Ramon was born in Mulege Baja California Sur, México. As a child Ramon spent more time in the water than on land. Always fishing and diving. With a short traditional education, Ramon followed his passion. He worked as a diver and commercial fisherman for many years, a skill that later on would become handy for his current career.
Ramon has around 20 years of sea kayak experience, teaching leadership in four different countries in America; USA,CANADA,CHILE and MEXICO. With more than 300 weeks of field work as a leadership instructor and working as a guide for Sea Trek Baja for many years.

Dave has an extensive history in the kayak industry ranging over 35 years going back to his early days at the Necky Kayaks factory where he found his passion for kayaking which has included touring, whitewater, surf and racing. He keeps his life lean and mobile, and so does not have much room to spare either in or on his overlander for a 16-ft touring kayak.
In addition to that experience, he is also happy to see other paddlers flourish when they are able to test a unique product and make up their own mind on whether it is right for them - offering guidance along the way. Now two TRAK 2.0s join him on his annual migrations between BC and BC - that is, British Columbia and Baja California!
