I am a long time sailor who was introduced to TRAK kayaks when I moved on to my sailboat in Victoria BC as a live aboard in 2010. The TRAK kayak was a great fit for easy storage on the boat and great performance paddling. After 3 years living on the water my career brought me to Ottawa where again the TRAK was ideal for condo living and paddling on the waterways of eastern Ontario.
Life brought me back to Victoria where small home living on the water was a great home for the TRAK. I was able to do paddling around Victoria and the Gulf islands including an amazing TRAK camp in Tofino. I love the capability and utility of the TRAK kayak and LOVE to talk about the boats and the company with anyone who is interested - and the kayak always bring interested folks around.
Work moved me away from the ocean to Colorado for a few years from 2020-2023 where I expanded my water based activities into white water rafting. Now living in Norfolk VA I am able to get back out on the big water as well as continuing to play in white water with rafts and kayaks! In addition to the Tofino camp some of my paddling highlights include the Nahanni River and 2 trips exploring Grand Manan. I hope to make an impact with TRAK by sharing my stoke whenever I can. I am truly inspired by the product and the brand and love to share my enthusiasm and helping new paddlers get into TRAKs and experience it for themselves!! When I’m not on the water you can find me on the ski slopes, on my bike, or trying to get out backpacking and camping.
